Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of Issuelane, a service operated by [TO BE CONFIRMED: registered company name and legal form], trading as Cublya. The full company details are on the legal notice page. By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service is in preview
Issuelane is not generally available. It is under active development,Cublya runs its own work on it, and features may change or be removed between one week and the next. We make no availability commitment: there is no uptime target, no service level agreement, and no guarantee that data will not be lost while the service is in this state. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Who may use it
You need an account, which is created through the sign-in providers we support. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite to a workspace you control.
Workspaces and roles
Everything in Issuelane belongs to a workspace. Whoever creates a workspace controls it, and can invite others and set what each of them may do. A workspace owner or admin can see, change and remove anything in it, including content added by other members. If you are invited to a workspace you do not control, the person who controls it decides what happens to what you put there.
Your content
Your tasks, comments, labels and everything else you put into Issuelane remain yours. We claim no ownership of them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it, back it up, and show it to the people you have given access to.
You are responsible for having the right to put that content there, and for it not being unlawful.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law with it, or use it to harm anyone.
- Attempt to access a workspace, account or data you have not been given access to.
- Interfere with the service’s operation, including by overloading it or probing it for weaknesses without our written permission.
- Resell or redistribute the service as though it were your own project.
If you find a security problem, tell us at legal@cublya.com rather than demonstrating it against anyone else’s data. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine task in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.
Fees
There are none today. Issuelane takes no payment during preview: there is no card form, no invoice and no subscription. Published plans describe what the service is expected to cost later. If that changes, you will be told before anything is charged, and nothing will begin billing without you agreeing to it first.
Ending it
You can stop using Issuelane at any time. Write to us and we will delete your account and the workspaces you alone control.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue it we will give you reasonable notice and a way to get your data out wherever we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Issuelane is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and Cublya is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of it. Because the service is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for it, which is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. If a change materially affects your rights we will make a reasonable effort to tell you rather than relying on you noticing the date.
Privacy
What we collect and why is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. If your workspace puts other people’s personal data into Issuelane, the data processing agreement page says who is responsible for what.
Governing law and where a dispute is heard
These terms are governed by the law of [TO BE CONFIRMED: country whose law governs the terms]. A dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the courts of [TO BE CONFIRMED: city and country of the competent courts].
If you are a consumer, none of that takes away a right you have under the law of the country you live in, and it does not stop you bringing a claim in your own local courts where that law says you may.
